poetry
Subject Sampler
Have you ever wondered why students have to learn about poetry? What's the point? Why does it matter if words rhyme or not?
What if I told you poetry is the most sophisticated type of literature that exists?
There are different forms and types of poetry.
Somewhere there's a poem waiting to either pour out of you or willing to meet you precisely at the location of your complicated thoughts and emotions with the words you need to connect to yourself - and the self-awareness you've been longing to see - or my heart doesn't bleed.
Cheesy? I know! If you've read this far, then keep going! You will fall in love with this introductory sampler on poetry. You will have the opportunity to check your understanding of terms related to poetry and create your own poem using what you have learned.
